    Thermally Modified Bamboo Decking for Outdoor Excellence

    ZHUART® thermo bamboo decking is a premium decking solution made from fast‑growing moso bamboo. Matured in just a few years, moso bamboo is thermally modified, either deep-carbonized at ~220 °C or light-carbonized at ~100 °C, and compressed to create boards with exceptional stability. This treatment reduces moisture content and fiber sugars, making the decking highly resistant to water and decay. It is well-suited for demanding outdoor environments.

    Installation guide

    Care & Maintenance

    Thanks to the thermal modification process, ZHUART® Thermo Bamboo Decking requires minimal maintenance. While natural color changes or slight surface roughness may develop over time, they can be easily restored to their original condition with simple, routine care.

    • Cleaning
      Sweep regularly and rinse with water as needed to keep the surface free of debris.
    • Oiling
      To maintain the original color, we recommend applying WOCA or another water-based outdoor oil once a year.

    Natural Weathering

    ZHUART decking will slowly develop a natural silver-gray patina over time when left unoiled in outdoor environment. This transformation is a normal result of exposure to sunlight and UV exposure, and does not affect the structural performance of the decking. The original color can be restored easily with oiling.
