Balancing romantic aesthetics with practicality
Nestled behind the North Library at Southwest Minzu University lies a serene space, adjacent to a tranquil lake and shaded by lush trees and green lawns. The seating in this peaceful retreat combines bamboo and marble materials, offering students and visitors a place to pause and appreciate the beauty of their surroundings. Whether it’s a sunny spring afternoon or a crisp winter morning, these thoughtfully designed benches invite moments of rest and reflection.
Merging nature with architecture
The rich textures and natural warmth of bamboo flooring seamlessly blend with the environment. The deep hues of the bamboo planks complement the greenery and dappled sunlight filtering through the trees, creating a dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and texture. The triangular landscaping and flowing natural patterns enhance the visual connection between architecture and nature, emphasizing the simplicity and elegance of the space.
Bamboo’s versatility in campus design
Beyond its functional purpose, the bamboo flooring showcases its versatility, transforming into artistic seating installations. These unique benches, crafted from bamboo and marble, encourage students to linger, rest, or reconnect with their thoughts. The combination of form and function elevates the outdoor space, making it an inviting haven on campus.
