ZHUART is excited to announce that its newly built factory in Jianyang, Fujian, has officially entered the trial production phase. Covering an area of 16.38 acres with a factory space of 66,481 square meters, the project represents a total investment of 120 million RMB.

The new factory has already generated significant demand, with orders scheduled through May of the following year. To meet the growing demand, the company is working tirelessly to ramp up production.

On September 10, ZHUART successfully launched a state-of-the-art dual-medium thermal energy center, developed with an investment of over 10 million RMB. This energy center utilizes bamboo residues as fuel, offering high thermal efficiency while supporting sustainable energy use. The thermal energy system has played a critical role in facilitating the trial production phase by ensuring a reliable energy supply.

    Progress Update

Over the past month of trial production, ZHUART has already procured over 1,000 tons of bamboo raw materials, focusing on the drying and carbonization processes. By the end of the year, the company expects to complete all production phases, moving towards full-scale operations. Once fully operational, the new factory will achieve a monthly production capacity of up to 100,000 square meters of outdoor bamboo products.

Chairman of Fujian ZHUART Bamboo Co., Ltd., Mr. He Pincai, commented on the production progress:

“We’re adopting a step-by-step approach, ensuring each piece of equipment is thoroughly calibrated before production begins. For instance, bamboo strands go through bulk drying, followed by carbonization. After adjusting the moisture levels, the bamboo is pressed—a process that takes about 30 days from start to finish.”

Currently, two out of the factory’s seven high-temperature pyrolysis kilns are fully operational, with technical teams working diligently to bring the remaining equipment online. The production process involves a dozen critical steps, including drying, carbonization, glue dipping, balancing, and pressing.

Once fully operational, this new facility will significantly bolster ZHUART’s manufacturing capabilities, reinforcing its leadership in producing sustainable bamboo materials for outdoor applications.
