Deep Carbon Series
ZHUART Deep Carbon Series decking is backed by a 15-year quality guarantee and a 15-year limited product warranty that begins from the date of purchase.
This quality guarantee and warranty is based on its proven field durability over more than a decade of real-world use.
Light Carbon Series
For the ZHUART Light Carbon Series, we offer a 10-year quality guarantee and a 5-year limited product warranty that begins from the date of purchase.
This shorter warranty period does not imply lower durability. Both the Light and Deep Carbon Series have been certified as Class 1 Durability under standardized testing, meaning:
25+ years expected lifespan in ground contact, and
40+ years expected lifespan above ground in normal outdoor conditions.
However, because the Light Carbon Series (also called N-Cube) was only launched in 2021, we currently have only 5 years of real-life usage data. As a responsible manufacturer, we base our warranty on actual in-use performance rather than projections alone. As real-world data accumulates, this warranty period may be adjusted accordingly.
Note: Some of our parners may offer warranty periods exceeding ZHUART’s manufacturer warranty, reflecting their strong confidence in the product‘s long-term performance.
ZHUART Outdoor Product Warranty
This Limited Product Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by ZHUART Co. (“ZHUART ”), with a registered address in Jianyang District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, China. It applies to ZHUART Bamboo Outdoor Product purchased by the original customer (“Customer”).
ZHUART warrants the structural integrity and adhesion of its outdoor bamboo materials.
This warranty is only for normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, insect infestation, superficial fungi, force majeure, and damage caused by any other circumstances considered unusual in normal use.
Also not covered are purely visual impairments such as imprints, joints, color differences caused by light, or the removal of natural oils from the surface caused by seasonal climatic changes. Issues from improper installation, maintenance, cleaning or maintenance of the surface coating, mechanical or chemical damage are also excluded from this warranty.
It also does not cover non-bamboo components (e.g., plastic spacers for beach floors).
This warranty statement supersedes all previous statements; the manufacturer’s warranty also uses the current version.
Warranty Coverage
ZHUART outdoor bamboo products are natural forest products with color, texture and surface variations. The color may vary according to the maintenance cycle and the time of use. Color variation can not be a reason to make a claim.
Small cracks on the surface and ends of the product may occur due to different drying rates of the surface and (cross cut) ends. This phenomenon occurs in most woods, and can not be a reason to make a claim.
The product is subject to constant shrink and swell due to temperature changes and normal weathering with dry and wet climate periods, resulting in surface roughness over a period of time. This phenomenon occurs in most woods, and can not be a reason to make a claim.
Slight dimensional changes or warping of the product after installation, which is a phenomenon that occurs in most woods, can not be a reason to make a claim.
This warranty is limited to Grade A products only.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and can not be transferred.
Warranty Conditions
To be able to make use of the warranty the product must be installed according to the installation instructions. Please read our installation instructions carefully before installation. No claims can be accepted in cases of improper installation.
Warranty
This warranty applies to the legal rights of the buyer, and also includes the rights of the buyer against the seller.
If a claim arises before installation, we will replace the defective product free of charge. No claims can be accepted after installing the material if the buyer could have detected the defects before installation. This warranty does not cover damages caused by third parties (e.g. transporters).
If the defect arises after installation, ZHUART Co. reserves the right to either repair the defect or to provide the material free of charge to the buyer.
If the defective product is no longer in the regular product range, we will provide a similar or equivalent product from the current range.
A claim does not lead to an extension of the warranty period.
The cost for the re-installation of material and other consequential charges are not covered by the warranty. The freight costs for replacement materials to the project site are covered by the manufacturer.
Settlement of the Warranty
To make a claim, submit a written notice with the following:
To file a claim under this Limited Warranty, the Purchaser or the transferee must send a description and photographs of the alleged defects, along with proof of purchase, to ZHUART Co. within the Warranty Period. Claims must be in writing and passed on within 30 days to the sales staff or the corresponding distributor, directly or indirectly to ZHUART.
ZHUART Co. reserves the right to verify claims on site or after the fact.
