ZHUART bamboo panels, beams, and decking play a central role in shaping the ambiance, merging traditional elegance with modern craftsmanship. The tea corridor features dark bamboo panels interwoven with grey masonry, creating a layered rhythm of shadow and light.

The courtyard, envisioned by landscape designer Kang Heng, reinterprets traditional Chinese courtyards in a vertical dimension. Here, bamboo structures define spatial harmony, where raindrops and sunlight animate the surroundings, and nature extends beyond its conventional boundaries to become an intrinsic part of the space.

More than a restaurant, Sheng Yong Xing Shanghai embodies an artful dialogue between architecture, culture, and nature, proving that material selection is not just about aesthetics but about storytelling, emotion, and experience.
