    To meet these requirements, the project adopted ZHUART® Deep Carbon Outdoor Bamboo Decking, covering a total area of 3,600 square meters across the main pedestrian zones of the pier. The material’s high density structure, achieved through deep carbonization and high pressure compression, makes it particularly suitable for coastal environments with heavy foot traffic and continuous exposure to moisture, salt air, and sunlight.

    Project Challenges

    The pier operates under intensive daily use, with constant movement of passengers, service vehicles, and equipment. At the same time, its location within a protected natural heritage area requires strict environmental standards. The flooring system needed to deliver long term structural stability, resistance to marine conditions, and a natural appearance that complements the seascape.
